Today, TAITO CORPORATION released the third update for SPACE INVADERS Infinity Gene Evolve, exclusively available on Apple Arcade — Apple’s game subscription service that offers unlimited access to more than 200 games.
Update Overvies
In this update, the "ship," the player ship from Taito’s classic shooting game " HALLEY'S COMET," will be added. You can unlock and use this ship by collecting tokens earned through gameplay. Along with this, related achievements have also been added.
The "Ship" can be equipped with up to four support units. By concentrating their attacks, you can quickly take down even tough enemies. As in the original game, if a support unit is hit, it will turn into a bomb and protect the main ship. Support units will not take damage if you move them outside the area where the Ship can travel, so making good use of this feature makes it easier to dodge enemy bullets and obstacles.
