We have an important announcement to make for all our loyal fans. Service for Groove Coaster 2 Original Style will be discontinued on 31st March 2025 at 14:00 Japanese time. We appreciate your understanding regards this.
Since the launch of its predecessor, Groove Coaster Zero, in November 2012, we have worked diligently to improve the service, but after careful consideration have come to the conclusion that we will be unable to continue providing the level of service we believe our fans deserve.
The entire development and operations team would like to thank all of our fans for their support over the years.
Schedule for End of Service
- 31st January 2025 14:00 (Fri/Japan time) End of sales for songs and other in-app purchases
- 31st March 2025 14:00 (Mon/Japan time) End of service
*Please note that this schedule is subject to change. We will notify you of any changes as soon as possible.
You will be able to continue to play the game and any downloaded songs and stages if you play offline using a recommended device*. However, anything purchased but not downloaded to your device/s will not be available after the sales of in-app purchases end, so we recommend that you download them in advance of the service ending.

Q1: How long will I be able to play Groove Coaster 2 Original Style for?
A1: All functionality and modes will be available until Monday 31st March 2025 at 14:00 (Japan time). You will also be able to newly install the app until this date. However, purchasing new songs will only be available until Friday 31st January 2025 at 14:00 (Japan time).
You can also continue to play the downloaded songs and stages of each difficulty level in the recommended offline environment. However, we recommend that you download all content before the end of online service, as you will not be able to access content that has not been downloaded even if you have already purchased them.
Please note that on some operating systems, there is a possibility that scores and songs that have not been played for a while will be deleted automatically.
